Zero-Waste Initiative: Textile offcuts are donated to non-profits and repurposed for community projects. Key Differentiator: A fully localised supply chain—we design, source, and create entirely in Cape Town. Local is Lekker: We are proud to create locally, supporting our economy and reducing the environmental cost of imports.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER
My late grandmother, a self-taught dressmaker from District 6, was my first inspiration. At her old Singer sewing machine, at the age of 8, I learned to create dolls’ clothing—often breaking needles in my excitement and running away until she called me back. When I messed up something she’d say “Jy knoei alweer”. She taught me to pursue beauty and passion no matter the circumstance. That spirit of resilience, deeply rooted in our Cape Malay
heritage, is the foundation of this brand. I now create understated, graceful clothing focused on how it makes you feel. My philosophy is classic comfort and silent
